The deadline for submission of applications for admission to the Four-Year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme for the academic year 2026–27 has been extended until 07 June 2026 (11:59 PM IST).
Applicants seeking admission to the Four-Year BS (Research) Programme through the JEE (Advanced) 2026 mode of entry are required to update their JEE (Advanced) rank details on the admission portal by 07 June 2026, the closing date for application submission. Applicants who have already submitted their applications may refer to the procedure available on the applicant dashboard of the admission portal for updating their National Entrance Examination results.
The online admission portal will open on Friday, 01 May 2026, and will remain open until Sunday, 07 June 2026.
The Materials major under the BS (Research) programme will be discontinued with effect from the Academic Year 2026–27. Students applying from the 2026–27 admission cycle onwards will not have the option to choose this major. This change does not affect students currently enrolled in the programme.
