Applicants who have applied for admission to Bachelor of Science(Research) through JEE Main National Entrance exam must ensure that they have updated their Roll no/Application number(as applicable) and Rank( i.e All India Rank) on the admission portal by 20 September 2021[ 1700 hrs]. To view the procedure to update the national entrance result is clicked here. Applicants who have applied through JEE (Advanced) and NEET UG mode of Entry will be allowed to update the national entrance exam result after the results of these exams will be announced.

Updation of KVPY Exam Rank: Due to the Publishing of the revised Rank list by KVPY for the KVPY SX and KVPY SB exam, Applicants who have applied to the IISc Four Year Bachelor of Science(Research) Programme are allowed to update their revised KVPY exams rank on the admission portal on or before 15 July 2021( by 5 PM). Applicant, while updating Rank, should ensure the following points.
1. Only All India KVPY Rank is entered and not marks secured in the exam.
2. Applicants belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category ensure that they enter their empowerment ranks by selecting Mode of Entry as KVPY-SA-E, KVPY-SX-E( as applicable).

An Online Counselling for Spot admission to four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) will be held at 10. 00 hrs on November 12, 2020; based on the KVPY(SA), KVPY(SX),JEE (Main), JEE(Advanced) and NEET(UG) exam.

2. JEE (Main) Exam: The cut off based on All India Rank (CRL)( based on the final NTA score) in different categories are as follows:

Note: Participating in online counselling is mandatory.

2. Eligibility:
(i) Applicants should have already applied to the Bachelor of Science Programme at IISc for the current year. They should meet the above mentioned Cut off criteria, must give their willingness to attend counselling by sending an email to ugpro2020.ug@iisc.ac.in on or before November 10 2020 (1300 hrs), clearly mentioning their Name and IISc Application number.
(ii). Along with the willingness email, applicants must also send the following documents to ugpro2020.ug@iisc.ac.in.
(a) A copy of the online application form filled earlier for admission to the IISc Bachelor of science program
(b) KVPY SA/KV SX/JEE (Main)/JEE(Advanced)/ NEET-UG exam result card (whichever is applicable)

Note: Only those applicants who meet all the above criteria will be eligible to appear for counselling.

3. The seats will be filled up based on the rank and availability of the seats. If you are selected for admission, you will be required to complete the admission formalities, including payment of admission fees by November 13 2020.

4. Important Note: Applicants who were eligible for counselling in the previous round based on their KVPY/JEE(Main)/JEE(Advanced)/NEET-UG ranks, are NOT eligible to participate in this round of online counselling.

SC
Offers were made to SC category applicants selected with ranks of up to 60 for KVPY-SA-Empowerment-SC, 60 for KVPY-SX-Empowerment-SC streams and 10 for KVPY-SB.

Anonline counselling session will be held for the selected candidates starting at 9.00 AM on Sep 16, 2020, on Microsoft Teams platform. Those who will accept the offer will receive through e-mail the Microsoft Team link for joining the online counselling.
